MARGARITA FEST

The Soroptimists of Susanville’s annual Margarita Fest 2017 is on Cinco de Mayo this year, May 5. The fun will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Hall. There will be 10 flavored margaritas, live music, a silent auction and much more. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, you better get to Margie’s Book Nook in Uptown Susanville to buy them as they have a limited amount for purchase.

CRAFT FAIR THIS SATURDAY

The Soaring Eagle Blue Star Moms is hosting a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, April 29 at the Veterans Memorial Hall. Grab a friend and get some Mother’s Day shopping started while supporting the Blue Star Moms.

WELCOME NEW PRODUCT SPECIALISTS

Chad Nethery at Susanville Auto Center tells us he’s pleased to welcome three new product specialists to their team. Matt Baisley, Dylan Conklin and Cristian Deleon are available to take you on a test drive and answer all of your questions about their entire fleet of new and preowned vehicles. Erik Jefferts, Julie Howard and Margaret Liddiard are the co-owners of the newly opened brewery The Boardroom on Johnstonville Road in Susanville. With more than 30 years experience in the industry, they decided it was time to expand their operations in order to keep up with the demand for producing and exporting their fine ales made locally in Lassen County. They offer group tasting and tours on request. Plus you can enjoy their authentic rustic pizzas personally created by local chef, Tyler Morrish. The Boardroom is open from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
