Busy day for Supes tomorrow in Bieber

The Lassen County Board of Supervisors participates in two meetings tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25, in Bieber.

The board holds a special meeting at 10 a.m. at the Bieber Veterans Memorial Hall, 657-575 Bridge St., Bieber, California.

Items on the agenda include a presentation and discussion with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife regarding management of Honey Lake, Willow Creek and Ash Creek wildlife areas in Lassen County; consideration of a contact with NorCal EMS; consideration of an agreement with the Lassen County Office of Education; consider discontinuing the Driving Under The Influence Program at Lassen County Behavioral Health; consideration of engineering design services for the Whitehead Slough Bridge; and consideration of road maintenance and rehabilitation projects.

Then at 1:30 p.m., the board will join a special meeting of the Lassen-Modoc Flood Control and Water Conservation District at the Bieber Veterans Memorial Hall, 657-575 Bridge St., Bieber, California.

Items on the agenda include a public hearing on the 2024/2025 budget; minutes from prior meetings; a transfer of assets from Modoc County to the Lassen-Modoc Flood Control District; and a discussion regarding existing and new meters for Lassen-Modoc Flood Control.
