About Sandhill Wild Rice
A multi-generational family farm and ranch, Alturas Ranches is situated in Northern California, surrounded by preserved wildlife habitat.  Sandhill Wild Rice has been growing wild rice for more than 35 years.  As growers, they are out to bring awareness of the nutritional value, versatility and great taste of wild rice.  Alturas Ranches’ primary focus is on the health of the land, thus producing wild rice of high quality. They have established and continue to redevelop fields of conventionally farmed ground into organic farmland.
