California wild rice makes an appearance at ‘the big game’
Sandhill Wild Rice, California grown from Alturas Ranches’ wild rice fields – will be a featured ingredient at GENYOUth’s Taste of the NFL LA live event from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb.12, benefiting GENYOUth’s End Student Hunger Fund. This party with a purpose will also be aired on the NFL Channel on morning of Super Bowl.
Celebrity chefs will create an immersive culinary experience for 2,500 guests, complete with delicious food and tailgate specialties, special guests, top national and Los Angeles chefs along with thirst-quenching libations at the Petersen Automotive Museum.
General Admission tickets are available for $1,000. Admission includes a special Taste of the NFL gift bag and Taste of the NFL football to collect autographs from top chefs and athletes. A virtual event will be held Sunday, Feb. 13. Visit tasteofthenfl.com to purchase tickets.
Net proceeds benefit GENYOUth’s mission to tackle food insecurity among children nationwide through their End Student Hunger fund. GENYOUth is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
