CalTrans announces Highway 299 project

CalTrans District 2 and Hat Creek Construction & Materials, Inc. will begin work on the Pittville to Bieber AR Chip Project on Highway 299 in Lassen County on Thursday, July 6.

The project will place an asphalt rubber chip seal with isolated areas of concrete dig outs on Highway 299 near McArthur, from Pittville Totten Road to the Pit River Overflow Bridge.

Motorists will encounter one-way traffic control with up to 15-minute delays Monday through Friday during daytime hours. The project is planned to be completed by the end of August.
