The Lassen Community College Camp Cougar program drew in more than 35 local basketball enthusiasts interested in perfecting their technique on the court between Monday, June 25 and Thursday, June 28. Coach Will Freedman, one of the head coaches at Camp Cougar, said, “Both Camp Cougar and Camp Grizz were loads of fun this past week. The campers worked all week on their skills while also having a great time. As a coach it has been a blast watching the campers grow and develop as players over the years. This was by far the most skilled camp we have had in my four years here. I know myself, coach (Jessica) Larson and coach (Dorinda) Shaffer can’t wait to hold another camp to have the opportunity to work with these great kids again.” Photo by Ashley Grogan
