Chamber holds monthly mixer July 8
Join us as the Lassen County Fairgrounds hosts the monthly Chamber Mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, in the lawn area next to Jensen Hall.
Stop by to meet and welcome new fair manager Kaitlyn Downing and other staff members, and hear what new things are being planned at the fairgrounds. Food, a no-host bar and beverages will be served. You do not need to be a chamber member to attend, everyone is welcome.
The Chamber board meets at noon Thursday, July 8 at Diamond Mountain Casino hotel conference room. The board encourages member attendance and comment. If you would like to address the board, contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda. The Chamber board is pleased to welcome the following new board members who were recently elected to the board: Roxanna Haynes, Lassen Community College Dean of Instruction, Curtis Bortle, CEO Canna Junction, and Ruth Dike, Assistant GM Sierra Broadcasting KSUE/JDX.
The Lassen County 4th of July Celebration will be held at Lassen County Fairgrounds. The evening will begin with a Diamond Mountain Speedway Freedom Car Race at 5 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m. The Fireworks Show will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. For more information contact the Lassen County Fair at 251-8900.

Make plans to stop by the Susanville Farmer’s Market, held in Pancera Plaza in Historic Uptown Susanville, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday through the month of October. The market features fresh produce, meats, local crafts, delicious food and more. The organizers of the market are planning to bring more vendors and excitement to this year’s market, so stop by to see what they have to offer as new vendors are added each week.
