Holiday Craft Fair
The Lassen County Fairgrounds presents its Holiday Craft Fair from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec, 17t. For more information, visit lassencountyfair.org.
Santa’s Village and Craft Workshop at Susanville Ford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
Save the date. From 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, Santa Claus will visit Susanville Auto Center to greet all the kids and to have lots of fun. Susanville Symphony
The Susanville Symphony presents A Susanville Christmas, at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, and at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 at United Methodist Church, 60 Lassen Street in Susanville. Festival of Lights

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
The Bottle and Brush Art Bar, 2204 Main Street, hosts an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday Dec. 17. It’s the most wonderful time for a beer. Dig out those tacky sweaters from the back of your closet and come join them for a Christmas Party. The event will feature some light snacks and drink specials. The Live Nativity
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Susanville presents The Live Nativity. This family-friendly, outdoor Live Nativity will run for three nights, from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 through Sunday, Dec. 18. Admission to the Live Drive Through Nativity is free. You can arrive anytime between 7 and 8 p.m. Any vehicle that is in line on Richmond Road by 8 p.m. will be let through. There will be a sign at the back of the line at 8 p.m. on the last vehicle. This event is open to the public and located on the grounds of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 905 Richmond Road — across from Diamond View Middle School. Be sure to tune in your radio station to the posted channel and enjoy inspiring music as you make your way through The Live Nativity experience. Gingerbread House Party
Lassen Library, 618 Main Street, hosts a Gingerbread House Party from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 geared toward elementary aged children. Join us for an afternoon of gingerbread house building.
Holiday Shopping Campaign
The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce has launched its Holiday Shopping Campaign, Magic Made Local. This year it will have 23 participating businesses around town for you to get all your holiday shopping needs. This campaign will run through Dec. 20. Once you have visited five of more of the participating locations and receive a stamp in your brochure, you may drop it off at the Chamber office, 1516 Main Street, for a chance to be put in for raffle baskets.
