Hello, Spring!
After having to postpone this event for the past two years, we are ready to bring to you our 14th annual Spring Show, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at Lassen County Fairgrounds. If your business fits into home, garden, recreation or wedding vendor, we welcome you! Tune in as 93 KJDX will be doing a live broadcast during the show! Junior Fun Day
The Lassen County Sheriff’s Posse hosts the annual Junior Fun Day, Sunday, April 24 at Lassen County Fairgrounds. Registration opens at 9 a.m., event starts at 10 a.m. Ages of the events range from 1 year to 19 years old. Events include barrels, pole bending, steer dobbing, boot race and so much more. A delicious lunch will be available prepared by Lassen County Sheriff’s Posse. For more information, call Jon Hershberger at 310-5645.
Walk A Mile In Their Shoes
Join Lassen Family Services for the 9th annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes event to raise awareness for sexual assault and child abuse, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Spring on the Farm
Join Wemple’s Pumpkin Patch for two, fun filled days of Spring on the Farm! from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 30, and Sunday May 1 at 450-525 Wemple Lane in Milford. This event will feature a craft fair in the barn, antique trucks and tractors, baby animals, big tractor rides, food and a full day of fun. Lassen High School Class of 2025
Lassen High School Class of 2025 will be holding an art auction full of wonderful and unique artwork April 30 in the Student Center, with all the money raised going straight into the Freshman Class Fund. The student art will be auctioned to the highest bidder’s during the live auction portion of the evening. The art viewing and silent auction opens at 5:30 p.m. and the live auction begins at 6:30 p.m. The whole community is invited to come and support the freshman class by bidding on their art, bidding on a silent auction item or simply making a donation.
Honey Lake Chapter Ducks Unlimited Annual Banquet
Mark your calendar for Honey Lake Chapter Ducks Unlimited Annual Banquet Event. Switching back to the Spring, this banquet dinner will be held at Veterans Memorial Hall, Saturday, May 7. Farm Bureau Classic Golf Tournament

Lassen County Children’s Fair
The Lassen County Office of Education presents Lassen County Children’s Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at Lassen County Fairgrounds. This event offers free admission, food, fun, games, resource booths, entertainment, vehicle displays and more! For more information call the LCOE at 251-8711.

Monticola Club Mother’s Day Brunch
Get ready for a fabulous Monticola Club’s Mother’s Day Brunch and “spoil” your moms! Beautiful décor, mouthwatering homemade scrumptious French toast, eggs, desserts, breads, muffins and frittatas. Top it off with mimosas and of course raffles! There will also be a pianist who will make this Mother’s Day memorable with live music. Lassen Homebrew Festival
Calling All Homebrewers. Lassen Land Trails Trust is hosting the 3rd Annual Lassen Homebrew Festival from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot. Margarita Fest
Mark your calendar for this year’s Margarita Fest. Hosted by Soroptimist of Susanville, Margarita Fest will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 13 at Jensen Hall at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Enjoy 10 margarita flavors, a nacho bar and salsa contest sponsored by Sierra Dessert Properties. Tickets are only $25 and can be purchased at Axia Home Loans or Haven Salon.
