According to a statement from the California Highway Patrol, about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, Sean McCurdy, 38, of Chester, was driving a 2017 Ram 1500 eastbound on Warner Valley Road at a high rate of speed.
McCurdy’s lost control of the pickup, left the roadway and rolled multiple times. McCurdy was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was arrested for driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Due to the extent of his injuries, McCurdy was flown to Enloe Medical Center for suspected major injuries. This crash is still under investigation.
