This notice is to announce a vacancy occurred on the following board: Seneca Healthcare District to fill the vacancy of Robert Caton, whose term ends on December 7, 2018.

The remaining Seneca Healthcare District Board Members plan to fill the vacancy created by this resignation.

In compliance with the Maddy Appointive Registry Act, this appointment can be made on or after May 20, 2017.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED WATER RATE INCREASE BY HAMILTON BRANCH COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT

Hamilton Branch Community Services District is proposing a surcharge rate increase for basic water use. Current rate schedules are available for review at the District office located at 3749 Highway A-1 3, Lake Almanor, CA. A public hearing will be conducted on May 25, 2017 at 6pm, at the Hamilton Branch Fire Hall. At that time, the Board of Directors of HBCSD will consider all comments in its deliberations.

Any person interested, including all persons owning property served by the District, may appear and be heard as to whether the proposed surcharge is discriminatory or excessive) or on any other matter relating to said proposed resolution or the surcharge proposed therein.

This surcharge will cover the capital expenditure for an alternative water source. When the costs are recovered the surcharge will be dropped and the basic rate will be restored.

LEGAL NOTICE

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON DOMESTIC WATER SUPPLIES

A Timber Harvesting Plan (THP) will be submitted to CAL FIRE. The THP is located approximately 4 miles west of Chester, CA. The proposed THP includes portions of sections 03, 10, T27NR06E, and sections 15, 16, 22, 27, 32, 33, 34, 35, T28NR06E; MDM.

This notice is to request information about surface domestic water supplies from Class I, II, and IV watercourses that receive drainage from the THP area and are within 1000 feet of the THP boundary. Watercourses that may be affected are Soldier Creek and it’s associated tributaries.

If you have any information about surface domestic water supplies from this watercourse or its tributaries, please contact (within 10 days):

Any responses will be submitted with the THP to CAL FIRE for their review. If any surface domestic supplies are noted, the THP shall contain mitigation necessary to protect the water supply.
