Notice of Public Hearing
The Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing on the following matter on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in the Conference room of the Plumas County Permit Center, 555 Main Street, Quincy, CA.
10 a.m. Special Use Permit – Lake Almanor Community Church and Lake Almanor Christian School
This project is a renewal for a previously approved special use permit for a school located at 2610 Highway A-13, Lake Almanor, unincorporated Plumas County; Assessor Parcel Number 104-030-006-000; T28N/R8E/Section 17, MDM. The special use permit is required under Plumas County Code Section 9-2.1302(b)(1).
In addition, there is a proposal for an amendment to the previously approved special use permit to allow more signage along the property frontage and on the building.
This project is exempt under CEQA Guidelines [Section 15303] as the project consists of a previously approved conversion of an existing structure and permitting of an additional free-standing sign that will not conflict with zoning requirements.
