CHP warns drivers of chain controls

According to a Facebook post from the California Highway Patrol, “The Lassen County cows have decided to stay home today. You should too if you can.”

At 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, the CHP advised motorists of the following road conditions and chain controls:

Highway 32 is closed from Highway 36.
Highway 44 is temporarily closed due to spun out vehicles from Highway 36.
Highway 139 is R2 from Susanville north.
Highway 36 is R1 from Highway 44 to Highway 147.
Highway 36 is R2 from Highway 147 to Chester.
Highway 36 is R1 from Chester to 9.3 miles east of Mineral.
Highway 36 is R2 9.3 miles east of Mineral to 4.3 miles west of Mineral.
Highway 89 is R1 east from Highway 147 and Canyon Dam.
