City asks customers to not water lawns during outage

Until LMUD power is fully restored, the city is asking residents to hold off watering their lawns.

“Due to the situation with the rolling power outages, City of Susanville Water Customers are asked to conserve water by not watering your lawns. The City has difficulty keeping up with outdoor watering demands when the power is out. It is in our best interest to preserve water for potential fire fighting needs,” the city shared Tuesday morning.
