City Council meets at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15

The Susanville City Council meets at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15 at the City Council Chambers, 66 N. Lassen St. in Susanville.

Closed Session
The council meets in closed session at 4:30 p.m. to discuss public employment — the public safety chief, recruitment of a city manager and an evaluation of the acting city manager.

Open Session
The council returns to open session at 5 p.m.

Items on the agenda include
• Business from the Floor (public comment); and
• Consent Calendar (minutes from the June 26 and July 1 special meetings and the July 1 regular meeting; vendor and payroll warrants; Resolution No. 26-6556 approving and authorizing the fourth modification to the Position Classification Schedule of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Administrative Bargaining Unit).

New Business
Resolution No. 26-6557 — amending the Susanville City Council Committee List; Resolution No 26-6558 — accepting the California Highway Patrol Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program award in the amount of $220,595.39 and authorize the acting city manager to execute all necessary grant documents and administer the grant in accordance with program requirements; and Resolution No. 26-6559 — Approving a budget amendment for the replacement of the Diamond Mountain Golf Course Irrigation Well Pump.

Continuing Business
A discussion regarding emergency work associated with the failure of the variable frequency drive at Well 3.

The Susanville City Council’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 4:30 pm. Wednesday, Aug. 5.
