The Susanville City Council hosts a special meeting at noon tomorrow, Wednesday, June 29, in the city council chambers.
Items on the agenda include the certification of the canvass of votes by the Lassen County Clerk, a declaration of the election results, the other of office for councilmembers, the election of mayor and mayor pro tem and a resolution declaring the results of the election.
Other items on the agenda include a closed session conference with labor negotiators regarding the fire fighters unit, the miscellaneous unit and the public works unit.
Other business includes a budget presentation/ workshop a resolution implementing stage one of the city’s Shortage Contingency Plan (Water Resources Board Regulatory action), a resolution authorizing the city administrator to sign for the purchase of natural gas, and a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute a contract for a STIP Pavement Project.
The council’s next meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. July 6.
