The Susanville City Council has released the agenda for its Wednesday, Nov. 2 meeting.
The meeting begins with a closed session at 4:30 p.m. Items to be discussed include a conference with legal counsel on existing litigation regarding the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and a conference with labor negotiators regarding the Susanville Police Officers Association.
The council returns to open session at 5 p.m. Items on the agenda include business from the floor; the consent calendar; a public hearing on the adoption of a city ordinance by reference of the 2022 Building Code; new business (vendor and payroll warrants, the Historic Uptown Susanville Association, a Diamond Mountain Golf Course end the season update and consideration of the purchase of Hangar No. 27 at the Susanville Airport); continuing business (consider the appointment of the final member to the Sales Tax Oversight Board); city administrator reports (department reports and a code enforcement update); and future council items.
The council’s next meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26.
