The Susanville City Council hosts its next regular meeting at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 at the City Council Chambers.
The council meets at 4:30 p.m. to discuss two closed session items — an evaluation of the city administrator and a conference with legal counsel regarding the lawsuit against the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
The council returns to open session at 5 p.m. Items on the agenda include a presentation and employee service pin recognitions, public comment and approval of the consent calendar.
New business includes a consideration of Resolution No. 22-6029 authorizing the Public Works Director to close one block of Richmond Road for the annual Rails to Trails Festival held Oct. 8; consideration of a proposal regarding the Community Composting Project; consideration of Resolution No. 222-6403 regarding social media retention needs; consideration of Resolution No. 22-6035 approving a proposal for Interactive Response; and a discussion of city project priorities.
Continuing business includes a consideration of Resolution No. 22-6036 regarding the South East Gateway Project; an appointment to the Economic Development Implementation Plan Ad Hoc Committee; and the approved position list.
Other items include department reports and a discussion of future council items.
