City seeks proposals for a walk-in freezer at Crossroads

According to a statement from the city of Susanville, the city is “requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide assessment, plans and product specifications sufficient to bid for the installation of a walk-in freezer at 2414 Main Street in Susanville, California.”

The services to be performed include: In general, the applicant will provide product specifications and project notes to include engineering requirements, electrical survey, comments, and summary; applicant will provide a bid set of plans; and engineering services shall not to exceed $3,500.

According to the city’s statement, “The project site is a commercial building located at 2414 Main Street in Susanville, known as Crossroads Ministries, operated by Spare a Dime. The project location inside the building will be decided by the assessment. The freezer shall not exceed 500 cubic feet or project cost for $16,500.”

According to iq.com, “Crossroads Ministries / Spare A Dime is an alcohol or drug dependency prevention or treatment organization in Susanville, California whose mission is: Feed and house the needy.”

All proposals must be received by the city of Susanville by 4 p.m. Sept. 26, 2022. Submit three proposals in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Proposal for Walk-in Freezer at Crossroads.”
