Come join the kickettes for their Christmas Extrodinaire
The Susanville City Kickettes Christmas Extraordinaire is a great way to kick off the holiday season.
The show takes places at 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Veterans Memorial Hall.
“The Susanville City Kickettes will celebrate the season with all the JandJ Performing Arts dancers and tumblers,” said Jessica Newton-Wade, owner of JandJ Performing Arts.
“The show will have ballet, jazz, tumbling, modern and hip hop dance styles and performers of all ages,” said Newton-Wade.
Twelve young women dancers make up the Susanville City Kickettes: Megan MacKay, Luriah Hinshaw, Carlene Simpson, Katie Kennedy, Samantha Tiffany, Hailey Moore, Jessica Nobles, Hailey Gregor, Bailey Heath, Eden League, Arianna Moore and Alyssa Stark.
Newton-Wade said the show proceeds are non-profit.
“Each penny goes directly to producing more great shows and portions go to different charities throughout the community,” said Newton-Wade.
The Kickettes are very involved throughout the community, teaching dance class for McKinley’s after school program and performing at various different functions throughout town.
“Bring your whole family and many friends down for an amazing show and a fun filled evening,” said Newton-Wade.
Tickets are available at Margie’s Book Nook. For information about the show, call 260-1575.
