Community welcomes its Vietnam veterans home

U.S. Army veteran Mel Morrison, who arrived in Vietnam in 1962, spoke as the honored guest at the ceremony.
Chris Gallagher, chairman of the Lassen County Board of Supervisors, read a resolution from the county honoring the Vietnam veterans
Joe Franco, Mayor pro Tem of the Susanville City Council, read a proclamation from the city, recognizing Lassen County’s Vietnam veterans.
Larry Rogers, a retired master sergeant, Vietnam veteran and VFW member, serves as the master of ceremonies.
