Coppervale Ski Area waits on lift inspection before opening

Coppervale Ski Area is waiting on a lift inspection before potentially opening this weekend.

“Good evening Skiers and Riders. We have an update on the status of the hill,” read an update from the Coppervale Ski Area Page, “As it stands now, we are waiting for the approval from OSHA on the lift inspection. The lift inspection is scheduled for this Thursday, Feb. 4. Norm and the crew have been diligently working behind the scenes prepping the hill and lift. Please check back here or the snow phone (530) 251-8841, on Thursday, Feb. 4 for information regarding opening the weekend of Feb. 6 and 7. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.”
