The Lassen County Board of Supervisors will have to decide if commercial cannabis activities will be allowed in Lassen County.
Today, Tuesday May, 3, the Lassen County Planning Commission deadlocked 2-2 and was unable to forward a recommendation on to the supervisors regarding a proposed revision of Title 18 of the county code that would allow indoor commercial cannabis cultivation in industrial zones near Bieber, Herlong, Westwood and Johnstonville.
Lassen County Planning Director Maury Anderson said he would inform the board of the commission’s impasse. The revision issue will return to the board of supervisors for a final decision.
