Vaccinations are moving along in Lassen County, and the local public health department recently released its initial schedule for phases 1A through 1C.
“The administration of vaccines is coming along nicely in Lassen County. Lassen County Public Health, Banner Lassen Medical Center, and CDCR are currently administering vaccines to staff per the CDPH priority list,” Barbara Longo, health and social services director, wrote.
The schematic released Thursday provides a checklist of sectors the department is in the process of vaccinating and next sectors in priority order (based on CDPH requirements). The vaccinations are through appointment only.
“We will update the checklist and announce the updates as we move to the next sector(s),” Longo wrote.
Longo also commented on reactions to vaccines administered locally.
“Vaccine reactions have been minimal. A few reports of injection site soreness, underarm soreness for one person, and one person had a low grade fever for a short period of time,” Longo added.
