County works with Northern California lab for COVID-19 testing, updated schedule now available

COVID-19 testing at Lassen County Public Health is available three days a week again, however those wishing to get a test will have to schedule an appointment first.

Due to the dissolution of the partnership with OptumServe, Lassen County Public Health has contracted with Lab24 to continue the drive-through COVID-19 testing located at 1445 Paul Bunyan Road in Susanville.

The updated schedule is listed below:

  • Every Tuesday, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Every Wednesday, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Every Thursday, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Each test is by appointment only.

To schedule an appointment, you can call or text (530) 249-8126, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. To register, you will need to complete a PCR Test Requisition (attached below). If you do not have access to a printer, Public Health will have forms available to complete on the site.

LCPH will continue to provide COVID-19 Contact Tracing to contain and prevent the transmission of COVID-19. If you feel like you or someone you care for is exhibiting symptoms, please call the Call Center at Public Health (530) 251-8100 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday.
