COVID-19 vaccine available for everyone 18 and older
Lassen County’s Public Health Department announces the COVID-19 vaccine is now available to everyone 18 and older who lives or works in Lassen County.
Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesday at the Lassen County Public Health Department, 1445 Paul Bunyan Road, Suite D. Schedule your free appointment at MyTurn.ca.gov.

Johnson and Johnson vaccination clinic
The Public Health Department hosts a one-day only Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 6 at the Lassen County Public Health Department, 1445 Paul Bunyan Road, Suite D. (Only one dose needed.) Schedule your free appointment at MyTurn.ca.gov.
On April 23, the CDC and the Federal Drug Administration recommended the resumption of the use of the J&J vaccine in the U.S.

There is no required testing if you are traveling within the United States.
There is no self-quarantine required after arriving in the United State.

There is no quarantine or testing needed if you are exposed to someone with COVID-19.
The vaccine provides protection against the variants of the virus.

Those who have been vaccinated may gather indoors without a mask or social distancing with others who are fully vaccinated or unvaccinated people from one other household.
