Crews fight morning structure fire in Standish

Crews responded to a structure fire this morning, about 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 at a residence near the Highway 395 and County Road A3 intersection in Standish.

According to Standish Litchfield Fire, the blaze started in a shed then moved to a single family residence. The fire totaled the residence.

One firefighter sustained minor heat-related injuries, but was not transported to the hospital.

Assisting Standish Litchfield Fire Protection District are Cal Fire, the Susan River Fire Protection District, CCC and the Janesville Fire Protection District.
