Crews respond to fire at Travel Inn

Crews responded to a structure fire around 8 a.m. Saturday at the Travel Inn off Main Street in Susanville.

Crews work to extinguish a structure fire at the Travel Inn.

According to Susanville Fire Department Captain Robert Brown, the fire totaled one corner room on the top level and caused exposure in the adjacent room. There were no injuries reported.

As first responders arrived on scene, members from the Susanville Police Department and Lassen County Sheriff’s Office helped get the occupants out of the building.

According to Brown, the fire remains under investigation.
