District 1 State Senator Brian Dahle released the following Thanksgiving Day message.
I want to take a quick moment to express my sincere gratitude for the honor of serving the wonderful constituents of Senate District 1. As we draw closer to Thanksgiving, it is an opportunity to count our blessings, be with our loved ones and remember all the reasons we have to be grateful.
It’s also a great time of year to volunteer or donate to a local food bank.
Don’t forget Small Business Saturday, an opportunity to shop locally. Small businesses are the backbone of our communities and our economy. In fact, California’s 4.1 million small businesses employ 7.2 million workers across the state.
In closing, I wish you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. I hope you find yourself enjoying dear friends and family gathered around your Thanksgiving table.
