Lassen County’s representatives in the state legislature, Assemblywoman Megan Dahle and her husband, Senator Brian Dahle, will be in Susanville Monday, May 2 to honor a deceased CDCR employee.
ACR 32, by Assemblywoman Dahle, designated a portion of Highway 36 just east of McDonalds as the Memorial Highway. Her bill passed the legislature last year.
The dedication ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, May 2, in honor of Richard Bianchi, Jr., a CDCR employee and longtime Lassen County resident who died in a car accident in 2020 while driving to Redding to guard an inmate in the hospital.
