Donald Trump — a political brat of the lowest order

Has anyone noticed the great contradiction between Donald Trump’s actual life and the life he says has been imposed on him by people living in the evil world outside his Mar-a-Lago castle?

He is the presidential candidate with the most privileged social upbringing America has seen since perhaps John F. Kennedy. At the same time, he moans never-endingly over the monumental grievances he has incurred related to his poor, undervalued condition in the world.

As a terribly oppressed man, he is naturally entitled to more privileges and protections than any other public servant has ever been accorded in the history of the republic, like immunity from prosecution. If he wasn’t treated so badly, he wouldn’t need additional protection!

What this says to a discerning mind is that Donald J. Trump is a political brat of the lowest order.

America’s traditional view of his situation is captured in a popular proverb: “To whom much is given, much is expected.”

But for poor, oppressed Donald Trump, when much is given, so much less is expected and so much more must be offered to him to make up for everyone else’s shortcomings.
