Many flock to Doyle last year to take in the annual Doyle Days festivities. Saturday, Aug. 4 events include a 5K run (signup at 7:30 a.m., race begins at 8 a.m. Entry fee includes a custom hat, goodie bag and a unique trophy for first male and female finisher), Indian tacos (beginning at noon and continuing as long as supplies last), Rocky the Bull, Rock Wall and Waterslide, 2 to 6 p.m., Horseshoe Tournament at Buck’s Inn, 2 p.m., Tinker lab, craft and food vendors following the parade, Doyle Days raffle, 5 p.m. and street dance with live music, 6 to 10 p.m.

Along with a rock wall, being locked in “jail” and racing lizards, youth attending Doyle Days also got their faces painted last year.
