Dr. Beams, Medical Board of California resolve issue; local doctor looks forward to serving patients

The Medical Board of California announced Friday, Jan. 22 local physician Dr. Jay Beams has “complied with the terms and conditions … by enrolling in a Clinical Competence Assessment Program” and “it is hereby ordered that the Cease Practice Order issued against Jay Milton Beams, M.D. on Jan. 13, 2021 is hereby terminated.”

According to a statement to Lassen News from Dr. Beams, “I am pleased to inform you and the public that the issue with the Medical Board of California has been resolved.

“My practice is open for business as we look forward to serving our patients.”
