Washoe County Corner’s Office releases Lassen County drug overdose statistics.

Publisher’s note: This information from the Washoe County Coroners Office reports drug deaths in Lassen County between Jan. 26, 2020 and June 24, 2023. All of these deaths are considered drug related. Both Washoe and Lassen County officials acknowledge this list may not be complete. Yesterday, Lassen County Sheriff Dean Growdon told Lassen News there have been two drug overdose deaths in Lassen County in the last two weeks. Sources at the Susanville Police Department report it sometimes takes many months to get autopsy reports on drug deaths. Lassen News did not request the identities of these overdose victims.
