Egan hosts live Facebook forum; county asks governor to approve reopening plan

Richard Egan, public information officer for the Lassen County COVID-19 Incident Command, hosts a live question and answer forum on the LassenCares Facebook page at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 30 regarding the county’s Recovery Plan and the reopening Lassen County.

To participate, go Facebook.com and type in LassenCares.

Egan said participants can type in questions in real time and he will answer them.

According to an April 28 letter from Dr. Kenneth Korver, Lassen County’s health officer, to Sonia Y. Angell, the California state public health officer, and Gavin Newsom, California’s governor, the county and community partners have “come together to establish an economic and societal recovering plan for reopening services and activities that were closed during the COVID-19 pandemic response or had greatly reduced services and activities. We are requesting your approval so that we may proceed with a thoughtful countywide reopening.”
