Eagle Lake has dropped 3 inches in past month

According to a Facebook post from the Lassen National Forest, “The results of the leveling from (Thursday, Oct. 1) at Eagle Lake show that the lake has dropped 0.25 ft. (3 in.) over the past month. This puts the elevation at 5093.92 ft. as measured at the ‘new’ boat ramp at Gallatin. The level is also currently 1.89 ft. (22.68 in.) below where it was one year ago this time.”
