Evacuation warning issued again for area south of Mountain Meadows Reservoir

“An Evacuation Warning has been issued for the area south of Mountain Meadows Reservoir from Hamilton Branch waterway east to the Lassen/Plumas County line. While we do not believe there are any
residences in the area described, we are asking the public to stay out of the area for any purpose including recreation,” read a 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3 statement from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office.
