Join Golden State Natural Resources (GSNR), a forest resiliency and economic development company, for a community meeting on July 19th to discuss efforts underway to locate a pellet processing facility in Lassen County, as part of GSNR’s proposed forest and wildfire resilience project. Attendees will receive an update about the project efforts and have the opportunity to ask questions and hear from the project team. Details are as follows:

Veteran’s Memorial Hall

657-575 Bridge St, Bieber, CA

Wednesday July 19, 6:00 p.m.

Food will be provided

Learn about GSNR and the steps it is taking to advance its proposed forest resiliency project, which would sustainably procure and process excess forest vegetation into a pelletized fuel source to replace the use of fossil fuels. The proposed project would include the development of two processing facilities, one in the foothills of the Central Sierra Nevada Mountain range, in Tuolumne County, and one on the Modoc Plateau of Northern California, in Lassen County. As part of the project’s scope, finished pellets would be shipped from a deep-water port in Stockton, California to international markets for renewable energy generation.
