Lassen Family Services urges the community to wear denim on Denim Day, Wednesday, April 27. The day remembers an 18-year-old’s Italian woman’s rape in which the alleged perpetrator’s conviction was overturned. Women in the Italian parliament wore jeans in protest to launch the annual event.
