Every Bloomin’ Thing celebrates 30 years in business Saturday

It may be hard for our local gardening folk to believe, but Every Bloomin’ Thing, 705-607 Highway 395 E just outside of Susanville (with a second location at 130 Main St. in Chester) celebrates that impressive milestone this year.

Every Bloomin’ Thing celebrates that 30th anniversary milestone from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13 with live music by Tim Keesey and Mike Rivas, cupcakes, champagne and a spectacular sale featuring 30 percent off selected items.

Owner Melissa McCoy said she wanted to thank all the gardeners and customers who have supported Every Bloomin’ Thing over the past 30 years.

“We’ve been in the same place since 1994, Melissa said. “We used to be the old Pardner, so we had those old structures, and in 2007 we did the renovation where we added the garden shop area, specifically for all the garden goods. Then we added the greenhouse and the pergola, which was nice, and that kind of changed it up a lot. Gardening hasn’t changed a bunch, but a lot of the plant offerings have changed, and the selection is much larger now.”
