Fire department will host 9/11 ceremony

Americans will never forget the events of Sept. 11, 2001 when thousands of Americans died as our nation suffered the worst terrorist attack in our history.

The Susanville Fire Department remembers all those who fell that day with a ceremony held at 7:05 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11 at the firehouse on Main Street.
Chief James Moore asks the public to arrive no earlier than 6:30 a.m., but said everyone is welcome to attend.

According to a statement from the fire department, “If you have any questions or would like your organization to participate, please phone the Susanville Fire Department at 257-5152.”
