FNRC launches GoFundMe campaign

Far Northern Regional Center is a local organization that provides services and supports that allow persons with developmental disabilities to live productive lives as welcomed members of their community.

During the California fires, many of the people who receive FNRC’s services have additional support needs outside of the normal scope of Regional Center services or emergency services; many do not have family or insurance to help them during disasters or other large scale events.

Recently, Far Northern Regional Center launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist people with developmental disabilities impacted by emergencies within the counties FNRC serves (Lassen, Butte, Glenn, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity). This includes current wildfires, PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff events, and other emergencies or disasters.
