Lois Marek, a founding charter member of California chapter SU of PEO in Susanville, recently received her 50-year pin.
She will turn 99 in December 2021 and is fondly remembered by Barbara Ahrens as being extremely helpful and welcoming, a real sister. Georgianne Hall credits Lois with encouraging her to become more involved at the state level, which Georgianne has done repeatedly. Her son, Bill Weston, is thankful for his mother’s quick wit and always “being there” for him and all her family and friends.
