Gary Bridges, Lassen County’s District 2 Supervisor, invites Lassen County citizens to join him for a rally from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the State Capitol in Sacramento on Friday, Aug. 27.
“We are going to show our support for the California Correctional Center staff and our community,” Bridges said. “We need to stand together and fight for CCC. The closure is the wrong decision for the people of the North State.”
Bridges said free private buses will be provided by SEIU 1000. Signs to be used during the rally will cost $20.
Participants must sign up to ride the bus by today, Wednesday, Aug, 11 at Axia Home Loans.
