Free meals for county youth available for pick up this week

Lassen County youth have the option to pick up a free meal this week as area schools pushed back the start date for the new school year.

According to the Susanville School District, “In an effort to help support families this week, we will be serving meals at McKinley and Meadow View parking lots (Monday through Friday) from 11 a.m. to noon each day. Any community member age 1-18 is eligible to receive a free meal during this time.”
