Get ready for the Soroptimist’s annual Margarita Fest!

Ah, with Cinco de Mayo right around the corner once again it’s time for a taste of that frozen concoction that helps me hang on (with apologies to Jimmy Buffett) as the Susanville Soroptimist Club hosts it annual Margarita Fest from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 3 at Jensen Hall on the Lassen County Fairgrounds.

This year’s event features a dozen different flavors of margaritas. Those who purchase advance tickets at Margie’s Book Nook will receive a taste card for all 12 margarita flavors.

The event also features the ever popular nacho bar and the salsa contest.
Live music will be provided this year by one of Susanville’s most popular local bands, Timeless.

For more information, call Kerri Cobb at 310-1303.
