Christmas arrives in Uptown Susanville as the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce and Historic Uptown Susanville Association sponsor the annual Magical Country Christmas celebration beginning at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 in Historic Uptown Susanville.
The Magical Country Christmas celebration Saturday, Dec. 2 concludes with a spectacular fireworks display.
The festive event includes live entertainment, a Toys for Tots drive, food and street vendors, Santa’s Grand Entry Parade, a tree-lighting ceremony, and the event concludes with an awesome fireworks display.
Main Street will be closed to through traffic, and Uptown merchants stay open later than usual so residents can do some Christmas shopping,
