Gregor earns UNR cheerleader spot

Sometimes hard work, dedication and training truly do pay off in a big, big way.

Case in point — Hailey Gregor, a Lassen High School senior and Miss Lassen County, who recently signed a letter of intent to cheer at the University of Nevada, Reno.

After graduation from LHS later this month, Gregor plans to further her education at the University of Nevada, Reno as an honors student. And Gregor also is thrilled to cheer for the Division-1 cheer team in the fall, and she is excited to take her skills to the next level.

“I love being involved in my school, being a part of a team and showing my school spirit,” Gregor said. “Getting the crowd pumped up during a game is a blast. I will miss Lassen High School and Susanville so much, but I am eager to start my next chapter.”
