Artemis Journal, a prestigious feminist magazine will publish a poem by local writer Dianna Henning in its next edition.
This is such a beautiful journal,” Henning said. “Nikki Giovanni, who is very well known, is going to be in it, and the past Poet Laureate of the country (Joy Harjo) is in it, too, so I’m in good company.”
“It’s such a long, arduous process from birth to poem and then it’s even harder find a home for it,” Henning said. “The poem took several years to write … a long birthing process. And several years to find a home.”
