Highway 395 crash

Greg Johnson, of Susanville, submitted this photo of a Highway 395 crash between a southbound semi and a northbound pickup just south of Doyle about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 14.

Johnson reported, “The truck driver is OK and was out of the truck before it burst into flames. The guy in the pick up could not be helped and is likely gone.”

We have not yet received any information from the California Highway Patrol regarding this accident, and will update this story when we have more information.
